NxtPhase recently installed its first commercially ready NXVCT optical voltage & current sensor at Hydro-Québec. An important milestone for both companies, the NXVCT sensors are installed at a Rolls Royce gas-turbine generating station on the Island of Montreal.

Customers receive comprehensive reference information to guide them through installation & maintenance of an optical sensing solution.

Type Tests
NxtPhase successfully passed a complete set of product type tests. Type test reports are currently available for 138kV CT, VT & combined devices. 230kV & 345kV will follow in November & 500kV early next year. Testing was done per IEC & ANSI/IEEE requirements & included a full slate of EMC testing.
