Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Johnston
has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of NxtPhase since it
commenced business. Previously she was Chief Financial Officer of NxtPhase
Corporation for over three years. Prior to joining NxtPhase, Ms. Johnston held
various senior executive positions with companies such as Ipsos-Reid (formerly
Angus Reid), Deloitte & Touche, Woodward's Limited, and A&W Food Services. Andrea
brings extensive public and private company experience in strategy, marketing,
treasury and financial management. A Commerce graduate from the University of
British Columbia, she achieved designation as a Chartered Accountant, Chartered
Business Valuator and Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Johnston serves on the
board of directors of the Pacific Justice Services Association.

Vice President of Finance
Responsible for all NxtPhase accounting, financial reporting and business systems, Mr. Jennings brings over eighteen years of experience in negotiation of financing and international business contracts, as well as management of all aspects of finance and accounting. Prior to joining NxtPhase, Mr. Jennings held progressively senior management positions for Environmental Systems Products, a US-based manufacturing and service company in the emissions testing industry. Most recently, his role as the Director of International Finance included overseeing the hi-tech domestic division and the international division supporting both operations and manufacturing. Mr. Jennings holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and designation as a Chartered Accountant and a Certified International Trade Professional.

Director, Advanced Systems Applications
Acknowledged internationally as a technical expert in his field, Dr. Rahmatian’s role at NxtPhase focuses primarily on the application and commercial use of optical voltage and current sensors. He has served for many years as a Director of R&D at NxtPhase and was instrumental in the development of NxtPhase voltage sensing technology. Published in over 50 scientific and technical articles, Dr. Rahmatian is the co-inventor on 10 patents. Dr. Rahmatian is a graduate in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia, where he has also been an adjunct professor. He is a member of several industry working groups and standards bodies, such as IEEE, IEC, CIGRE and CSA, and has received a 2002 R&D 100 award for the development of the NXVCT optical sensor.

Director of Business Development
A key leader in our high-level strategy & business relationships, Mr. Dolling joined NxtPhase in 1999 with more than a decade of successful experience in sales and marketing for several hi-tech companies. He has developed international markets in Asia, Latin America and North America. Mr. Dolling’s broad range of experience includes guiding product development, developing OEM relationships and leading general business strategy. Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.

Vice President of Engineering
Dr. Blake is Stanford graduate and internationally recognized expert in fiber optic sensors. He combines over 12 years in industry with 8 years at Texas A&M University, where he was Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering. He has over 70 publications and 25 patents/applications to his credit. Prior to his work at NxtPhase commercializing fiber optic current sensors for high-voltage applications, Dr. Blake pioneered concept work on the fiber optic gyro at Honeywell. Dr. Blake has received a 2002 R&D 100 award for the development of the NXVCT optical sensor.

Director of Operations
A seasoned expert in the implementation of extremely high quality, reliable production management systems, Mr. Osborne comes to NxtPhase with over 26 years of experience in engineering, engineering management and senior operations management. This experience was primarily in the high quality/reliability telecommunications industry where he was instrumental in the development and implementation of industry changing systems used to manufacture high performance telecommunications equipment. Most recently as VP Manufacturing at Bandwidth9, his work with optical tunable laser systems and transmission subsystems included management of processes for advanced reliability tests, accelerated manufacturing techniques and preparation for ISO certification. He has also held senior operations and manufacturing positions with DSC Communication's Access Division, World Access and Nortel Networks. Mr. Osborne has a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Tennessee.
