The foundation for the relay & recorder product line began in 1990. First generation products were conceived & developed under the direction of Dr. Glenn Swift of the University of Manitoba's Electrical Engineering Department, resulting in the System Protection Relay (1993) & Transformer Protection Relay (1995). This development focused on digital signal processing technology & a flexible platform. Exposed to advanced digital applications in the electric power industry, our development team then began designing the next generation platform framework for our present product line.

Based on a new, state-of-the-art hardware platform, our relays & recorders boast exceptional cost/performance ratios. Setting & analysis software, a critical component, is seen as best-in-class by our customers. This software removes vendor-specific relay language & replaces it with a Windows-driven intuitive setting system that protection engineers naturally understand. We reduce setting complexity (less than 200 settings) & provide smart limitations to user settings.

Our "smart" devices (integrated recording & logging) provide solutions to many new challenges that face power utilities.
